# Building a Chatbot Scenario

This section explains how to build the conversation itself using the main units available in the Taqnyat Chatbot editor.

Each unit has a specific role in the flow — from capturing user input and sending replies to handling unmatched responses, redirecting users, storing values, and connecting to external systems.

### In this section

* **User Input** — Define what the chatbot should accept from the user and use keywords, filters, or saved inputs to control the next path.
* **Bot Reply** — Send text, buttons, images, files, or videos to the user.
* **Fallback** — Handle inputs that do not match the expected conditions and redirect the user to another path.
* **Go To** — Move the conversation to a predefined unit elsewhere in the scenario.
* **Input Value** — Store predefined values or user-provided data for later use.
* **API Call** — Send or retrieve data from external systems using GET or POST requests.

> ✅ **Tip:** Build the scenario one path at a time, then use the editor testing tools to verify that each branch behaves as expected before connecting the next one.
