# Keywords & Functional Commands

The chatbot platform includes built-in **keywords, placeholders, and internal commands** that can be used inside Bot Reply units, API calls, or unit titles to control chatbot behavior and track specific points in the scenario.

These commands are not shown to the end user, but they can be used for actions such as ending a conversation, transferring to a live agent, displaying API results, generating dates, and tracking reporting points.

| `{{live agent}}` | Transfers the conversation from the chatbot to a live human agent. |

| `{{getTomorrow}}` | Retrieves tomorrow’s date. |

| `afterCloseChat` | Indicates that the customer has exited Live Chat and returned to the chatbot, allowing the flow to continue to a specific scenario such as a survey or feedback path. |

### How to use them

These commands are added directly where the related action is needed.

For example:

* Add `{{endChat}}` inside a **Bot Reply** when the conversation should end.
* Add `{{live agent}}` when the user should be transferred to a human agent.
* Use `{{apiResult}}` while testing an API integration.
* Use `{{surveyN}}` to mark specific points in the scenario for reporting.
* Use the date commands when the chatbot needs to reference today or a future date.

> ✅ **Note:** These commands are internal and are not intended to be displayed as normal text to the end user.
